MOOLOOLABA SEAVIEW APARTMENT
Our tender included full interior design services including: Kitchen Design, Bathroom and Ensuite Design, Wardrobe and Storage Design, Finishes Selections. Furniture selections throughout and Project Management during construction.
The design of this apartment was inspired by the refreshing and calming experience of taking holiday at the beach. The design used a simple colour palette, playing on repetitve textural elements such as the coved wall detail and curved Island Bench to evoke rolling waves of the Pacific Ocean. A predominantly fresh white colour palette was enhanced with timeless warm oak and tiles with an informal coastal charm. The whole apartment was styled with aqua’s and neutrals to evoke the sun, sea and sky. Furniture was easy, relaxed and durable, suitable for holiday letting by families and large groups. This investment proved to be invaluable to our clients and feedback so far has been outstanding.
COTTEN TREE WEEKENDER

The family unit refurbishment was designed for three grown children who love water and beachside activities. It emphasized ample storage for surfboards and a tranquil atmosphere. Expansive windows showcased the vibrant market street. Inspired by the serenity of a beach holiday, the design featured a minimalist colour palette with coved wall accents and a curved island bench, echoing Pacific waves. Crisp white tones were paired with warm oak and vibrant blue/green mosaic tiles, creating a coastal charm. Aqua and neutral shades reflected the sun, sea, and sky. The budget-conscious project prioritized comfort, simplicity, and durability. This investment has been invaluable to our clients, with outstanding feedback.
MOOLOOLABA HOLIDAY APARTMENT

Waterfront apartments command a design approach that exaggerates the experience of being at the beach. The design intent of this apartment provided a simplistic style enhanced by the selection of materials and finishes which evoked, through various textures, a definite coastal vibe. A play between Vijay doors and feature panels for the servery in the kitchen, together with a micro-Vijay panel on storage cabinetry and bedroom robes, created a visually exciting manipulation of scale. A neutral colour palette of stone whites, brilliant whites, and timber tones helped to realise the informality of being on a holiday. Styled with cool blues /greens and neutral tones for bedheads and window treatments, the feedback provided by holiday tenants have been remarkable and unprecedented. Proving to be a valuable investment for our clients.
COTTON TREE APARTMENT

This stunning apartment is in Cotton Tree, a prime location for holidays and weekend stays. EM Interiors was commissioned to transform the tired 38-year-old apartment into a coastal refuge with up to date, contemporary finishes that incorporated a soft, warm neutral palette. The design solution included a total refurbishment of all bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as replacement of the kitchen. Part of the construction process included building a new slimline bulkhead to conceal air-conditioning and curtain tracks which together with the rest of the redesign have brought this luxury apartment into the new millennium. Both bathrooms and all 3 bedrooms were renovated and completed with soft furnishings.
OCEANS APARTMENT
EM Interiors have been providing furniture packages for many of the Oceans clients to deliver distinctive coastal feel unique to Mooloolaba. Considering the high traffic nature of the apartment, all furniture pieces have been selected to provide durability, longevity, and serviceability. The placement of new artworks and rugs took a huge role in injecting more colour into the interiors, which were inspired by Australian flora and fauna, the surf and the South East coastal culture.

EM Interiors have created a stunning refreshed interior through the selection of artworks, lamps, and soft furnishings (cushions & bedspreads) for this apartment to uplift the interiors. New bedheads were designed with a coastal theme in mind and were upholstered in neutral fabrics to feature the cushions sitting in front. Fabrics for the feature cushions showcased striking patterns in blue and green colours, which complimented the artwork selections inspired by the coastal qualities of Mooloolaba. Selections altogether have filled the existing spaces with lively energy that the apartment was lacking previously.

HASTINGS ST APARTMENT
A kitchen designed for relaxation that draws on the outside views. Intelligently designed for multiple uses by a variety of guest types. With careful consideration for functionality and durability, we created a space that is extremely effective for holiday use and meets all the requirements. Not only is the space highly practical it is also stunning, the design is modestly luxurious with a casual, relaxing feel perfect for holidays.
