FLOOR PLAN

MORE COMMERCIAL PROJECTS

CABOOLTURE TAXATION OFFICE

Floor plan layout, furniture plan layout, partition layout. Selection of Fixtures and Fixtures in wet areas. Reception area cabinetry drawings and RCP for public areas. Selection of Finishes. Selection of FF& E. Signage Package.

For this taxation office, EM Interiors have been commissioned for layout planning, interior colour schemes, selection of workstations and signage design. The office layout has been planned upon understanding the client’s spatial needs and determining the required dimensions of each room. Realistic furniture dimensions have been drawn onto the floor plans for resolving circulation within the premise. Accent colours were introduced through paint finishes, carpets, furniture upholstery and the kitchen splash back to reflect on the company’s marketing colours. Research was also been undertaken for acoustic and partitioning systems to provide noise cancelling solutions that are critical in a working environment.

KURABY HOTEL BRISBANE

Furniture Selection, Selection of Finishes.

Working together with Lucas Zahos architects in Brisbane, EM Interiors have specified the finishes for this hotel in Kuraby. The scope of works included the specification of paint palette for all areas, carpet & fabrics, acoustic timber panels, counter benchtop & laminate finishes, and floor and wall coverings. All selections made were appropriate for commercial applications and were documented within a Schedule of Interior Finishes.

MONTVILLE B&B

Our commission covered all areas including kitchen & bathroom design, Library & fireplace design, wet areas, walk in robes, interior architectural detailing, lighting plans, electrical plans, and selection of Interior & Exterior Finishes.

The hinterland to the Sunshine Coast region is rich with places to stay that evoke a warm country atmosphere. The styling of this Montville B & B started with EM Interiors during the build. We designed the kitchen, bathrooms, and all storage areas with the country style ethos in mind. The fireplace and library cornices, architraves and skirtings show the strong details that evoke a country abode. After the build, the client embellished the home in their individual style to attract their overnight staying clientele. The distinctive style that our team created formed a good foundation for anyone to dress with an appreciation of colour.

F TRUCKS

Furniture Selection, Selection of Finishes.

F Truck’s Maroochydore showroom needed refurbishment works to improve the existing interiors. Original spaces were quite bare, and a re-design of the reception and waiting/sitting area was needed. The re-design also included the selection of new commercial-grade furniture pieces along with a new interior colour scheme to create a positive impact for visitors and users of the showroom. Another eye-catching element designed for this showroom was the mural wall, where the client’s imagery was selected to wrap around the existing double-height walls and windows, acting as the feature backdrop to the open-plan layout. Overall, a pop of colour against some of the achromatic selections created visual interest, making the interior experience much more impressive.

NGARLUMA ELDERS VILLAGE

the Ngarluma Aboriginal Corporation (NAC) initiated the house community project with the aim of addressing a number of cultural, social and physical requirements of the Ngarluma Elders.

The nine units were designed to accommodate the needs of the Ngarluma Elders and to promote their position in the community as mentors and role models for the middled aged and younger Aboriginal people. The mentoring is facilitated through a number of communal spaces that are spread around the core of the village. The strong colour palette present was inspired by an artwork created by one of the Ngarluma Elders and supported the Ngarluma tradition of creating art.
