MAROOCHY RIVER CONTEMPORARY

Bathroom design services including a new floor plan layout to alter the downstairs bathroom into a Master Ensuite. Cabinetry design services and interior finishes and fixture selections were also part of our scope.

OVERVIEW

Designing this Maroochy River bathroom centred on maximising the view of the beautiful Sunshine Coast, framed perfectly by the picture window and luxurious free-standing bathtub. The cabinetry design featured integrated lighting for an up-market appeal with smart storage solutions. Finishes selections evoked a sophisticated simplicity, using large format tiles on the walls with a subtle yet distinctive grain to honour our client’s love for their property.

MOOLOOLABA COASTAL

OVERVIEW

The design approach for this bathroom, ensuite and laundry room redesign was one of contemporary coastal simplicity. Our designers maintained a neutral colour palette of warm beige tones with feature Oak cabinetry, all cooled with swathes of white. Visual interest was incorporated through the introduction of a textured door profile on the drawer and cupboard fronts as well as a Feature Panel of mosaic tiles with a mixture of complementary textures and tones.

OVERVIEW

This client requested an open shower space that created the feeling of an Australian bush shower, with a spa bath that would encourage relaxation and rejuvenation while taking in the breathtaking views or the Mooloolaba canals. Visually the design needed to resonate well with the personal tastes of the client. This was achieved by taking a masculine approach to the aesthetics and applying a rusticated tile in a large-scale format to achieve the result of a strong solution that is earthy and organic. The design of the Ensuite is such that the space is simple but rich and interesting using rustic contemporary materials and clever juxtaposition of spaces.

NORTH MALENY ENSUITE

OVERVIEW

The original Ensuite in this stately home was very closed in and looked small. The new open plan layout is enhanced by the addition of coffered ceiling design which helped define feature areas within the room. Selection of the fittings and accessories included a crystal basin with luxury traditional style tap fittings to add to the design detail, style, and sophistication. The integration of the floral wallpaper added depth & visual interest for this unique design solution.

OVERVIEW

Our role in the project was to design within the constraints of the footprint and to create a solution that would imbibe a coastal retreat style and mood. Client preferences were a frameless shower screen and the simplicity of the neutral finishes which provided direction for this, ‘Sea Change’. The bathroom is simplified by concealment of storage along with the connection of stone finishes of the benchtop and the stone look porcelain tiles. After refining the perfect layout, the finishes evoked a sophisticated composition reflective of the coastal context.

DICKY BEACH BATHROOM

OVERVIEW

This bathroom design was to be compatible with the design intent of the architecture. The Ensuite had to include an enclosed w/c, as well as providing for a double shower and vanity. Concealed lighting was also required in the cabinetry for task and ambient light. The finishes specified were appropriate to create the desired coastal theme and included natural stone benchtops, natural honed travertine tiles and suspended veneer vanity cabinets that provided warmth which tied in with the beach house ideal.

OVERVIEW

Our client for this project had a particularly exciting design style and we reflected this in our choice of finishes. The combination of Black and White Mosaic tile and Olive green cabinetry created a wholly unique design language. Other areas of the home such as the kitchen, featured accent matte gold finishes for a stylish result with a nod to contemporary trends.

The existing bathroom had been in place for over 20 years and was well overdue for a refurbishment. The new design solution required integration of a wardrobe, shower, vanity & W.C. The clients had recently re-carpeted their master bedroom with black carpet which helped to set the colour palette for the Ensuite – monochromatic with strong contrasts. The striking black glazing bars in the robe doors helped create a dynamic feature for this project.

OVERVIEW

Clients often have a design style choice in mind and this Ensuite was destined to be Hamptons Style with a Coastal twist. The choices of door profile, basin shape, and colour palette all helped to create the identity of the space in the Ensuite. Other areas of the home were pared back without compromising on style to meet the client’s budget.

From time to time some clients have a preference of natural stone for their choice of tiles. This Ensuite proudly shows the beauty of travertine balanced with textured timber laminates and simplified design choices in tapware and storage. There is nothing else equal to the feel of natural stone and the quality it brings to any project.

OVERVIEW

A White colour palette enhanced with textures and contrasting timbers were the features in this bathroom. Side lite vanity mirror for practicality and wider shower with a seat for elderly family extended. Concealed behind a wall of white shaker 2pac doors is a full laundry, equipped with every convenience necessary for the family living in this 5th level apartment home.

MOUNTAIN CREEK BATHROOM

Bathroom, Ensuite and Kitchen renovation in Mountain Creek Unit. New space layouts were developed to accommodate new cabinetry and newly selected Fixtures, Fittings and Finishes.

OVERVIEW

The layout of this renovated bathroom and was key to accommodate access for a wheelchair. Our designers devised an open layout that combined the WC and Bathroom for increased circulation space. The light and neutral colour palette was selected to maximise the bathroom’s small footprint and make it appear larger. Interior finishes selections such as the beautiful white kit kat tiles put a modern to the minimalist design ensuring that our clients ensuite will be loved for years to come. A decorative mirror with beaded detailing added an ornate touch to the main bathroom for a subtle injection of our clients personality.
