PROJECT OVERVIEW<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The design brief for the North Maleny Kitchen was to transform the space from an understated, large country kitchen to a refined Grand American Style. This project involved 2 stages of our design services: Interior Design & Contract Administration, which allowed great control over the whole design and construction process.<\/p>

The kitchen layout for this project was completely reconfigured by extending the cooktop wall and linking the new butler\u2019s pantry with the breakfast preparation bench in between. This made better use of space and opened the interior whilst ensuring that the space was proportionate for the home. New doors were also introduced which on their own had character with glazing bars and highlighted transoms. The kitchen cabinetry involved decorative door profiles, columns, moldings, and glazing\u2019s which all featured a relevant and unique style the clients were after.<\/p>

Materials and finishes were light in colour with dark features to establish the mood and show taste & refinement. An abundance of detailed ornamentation was applied across the board to enhance the grandeur of the home. Featuring the kitchen is the large island benchtop showcasing the luxury natural stone with golden inclusions. The selection of the benchtop is highlighted by the selection of the light cabinetry colour also providing spaciousness and elegance. Crafted timber corbels and decorative panels add to the Grand American aesthetic along with the traditional style fixtures including taps and handles. Last of the features but not the least, is our selection of the chandeliers featured over the island bench.
