STEP 1. CLIENTS INQUIRY
After visiting our website, new clients typically reach out via email or phone to schedule an appointment. Our interior design process follows a clear, client-focused methodology to ensure each project is thoughtfully researched, functional, and beautifully resolved.

STEP 2. INITIAL MEETING
Following your enquiry, our team will arrange a complimentary 30-minute consultation to discuss your project vision. This meeting is a valuable opportunity for us to listen, understand your needs and lifestyle, and explore your goals for your home.
We’ll briefly review the project scope to clarify priorities and provide early design insight. To ensure we tailor our guidance to your home interior design goals, we encourage you to bring along any relevant plans, images, mood boards, or samples.
Led by senior interior designers Eileen Middleton and Andy Hooi, this first step lays the foundation for a collaborative, client-focused design process that supports clear, confident decisions from the start.
STEP 3. DESIGN BRIEF
Following our initial meeting, we gather key project details to understand your specific requirements. Eileen and her highly skilled team assess your vision, style, and functional needs to create a tailored Design Brief.
This brief defines the scope of work in detail and forms the foundation for a clear scope of services, including associated fees for design and project management.
A well-structured Design Brief ensures a smooth, collaborative, and client-focused process — helping bring your vision to life with clarity, confidence, and care.
STEP 4. DESIGN SERVICES
Once we receive client approval, the EMI team will commence design services upon receipt of the deposit. Bringing decades of experience in interior design on the Sunshine Coast we are committed to delivering a seamless, personalised experience where every detail aligns with your vision.
Design services may include customised furniture packages, decorative lighting selection, and wallpaper curation to introduce texture, warmth, and character. All furniture layouts are presented in scaled CAD format for accuracy, while finishes, fixture schedules, and furniture presentations are provided in clear, professional PDF documentation to support smooth execution.
STEP 5. JOB COSTING

The estimate includes individual pricing for furniture, soft furnishings, rugs, lighting, and décor, allowing you to make informed decisions and adjust selections as needed. This structured approach ensures your design remains aligned with both your vision and budget.
